Fresh Veggies Out Of Our Garden!

I picked these out of the garden today! OoooOOOooooOhhhhhhh yeah baby!!!!! These will be good with dinner tonight! We are having twice baked potatoes (thank you Cheryl), chili and fresh veggies (thank you Mom and Dad)! I will have some more tomatoes by the end of the week too.
I am good, Ellie is good and the Daddy is good! We have all been a little tired the last few days and are in need of a really good nights sleep but I think we will do better tonight (fingers crossed).
I am busy this afternoon sorry for the quickie post! I just have to get the dinner started and one more load of laundry going before Daddy comes home so we can walk tonight after dinner instead of doing chores!

My first check up went well! We are all healthy & happy. Baby's heartbeat was 178. I go for an ultrasound on Tuesday. Ellie had fun bouncing today @ daycare.

Today I am:

Fighting: a huge pile of laundry
Proud of: Ellie...she has been saying thank you with out being asked.
Impressed: with just how strong a person can be if they put their mind to it
Going to: clean my bedroom
Trying to: stay focused
Shocked by: a lot of things really
Excited for: My doctors appointment Monday.
Somewhat sad: how fast the summer is flying by
Trying not to: think too hard...I have a headache!
Contemplating: names...so many names!!!

See That...Up There...

Yes...the thing that says "what name do you like"...You should pick the one you like! We will post some girl names next...we are still talking about them. It is harder this time for some reason. I think last time we had names picked before I was even pregnant!
I had a little bit of a rough morning this morning but not too terible. I am so glad I am not sick like I was with Ellie. I am a little yuckie in the morning and then in the afternoon I get really tired but I just take a nap when Ellie does and I am fine. I am really really craving junk food. I want things like ding-dongs, chilli fries, onion rings, cheese burgers, fair food, meat on a stick and other things like that. I have to remind myself...I can not eat that junk! I don't want to be the size of a small car when I have this little one! The better shape I am in the quicker I will heal and the healthier my little tyke will be!
So...I picked my lunch straight out of my garden today! I picked lettuce, tomato and onion and made a turkey wrap. It was so so yummy! I can't wait until I can do that everyday! It was so good! Now we just need the blackberries to ripen up a little bit so I can have some of thoes for a snack! I love blackberries...they are my favorite!

How to Make an Original Yumm! Bowl (video) I love this stuff! I am going to have to plan a trip to Yumm! very very soon after seeing this little video. Although now I know how to make one...maybe I can do it at home?!?! For dinner tonight???!!!
Ellie has been sleeping a lot lately...I think she is growing. She is going to out grow all of her shoes again! Wow the way this girl grows! Crazy!
Brad's contract was up at the station and he had the "big talk" with his boss...wheeehhsh...glad that is over! He is safe and so is his job. That takes a load off! Other than that he is doing pretty good...he is taking lots of photos and being a great daddy and helper. I don't know what I would do without him!
I am doing much better. I was really sick for a couple of weeks and not so bad at the moment. I hope it continues this way! Knock on wood!!! It is getting hard to button pants and shirts are getting a little tight but I am feeling pretty good. Still tired but heck I can nap! I go to the doctor on Monday and will have a report for y'all then.

Fighting: the need to eat lots and lots of bad food (ding dongs, string cheese, cheese cake and corn dogs)
Proud of: my husband. He works so hard and makes me so happy
Impressed: My daughter is learning so fast. It is amazing!
Going to: do laundry.
Trying to: not be a slacker. There is a ton to do today
Shocked by: how fast our house can get so messy!
Excited for: My doctors appointment next Monday.
Somewhat sad: about everything! OK not really everything but being prgnant makes me cry at every little thing!
Trying not to: think about how tired I am!

All the photos this weekend were taken by Brad! He rocks. Once he gets more sorted out I will post some more. They are good!

The laundry is done and the kitchen is clean...that is about it. I have not been feeling too hot lately. It is not incredibly awful but still bad enough. I think it is easier the second time because now I know what to expect...it will go away...I will feel better soon enough...I will feel super great for 6 weeks then get big for the last 2 months. But there is some fun stuff in there. And hey this is probably my last go round at this rodeo! I have to enjoy the fun stuff while I can.

Our garden is doing pretty well. The zucchini is taking it's time bouncing back from the lack of water but will be fine. My corn is up past my knees...I will measure tomorrow. And I have a red tomato! I will probably be able to pick it within the next few days. I might grab an onion and a little lettuce too and BBQ some hamburgers this weekend. Yummy!

Ellie is full of energy! All the time! She is just a kick in the pants. Today she kept telling me "I can't believe it" It was so funny. She also put on her life jacket and said "lets get out of this cave and go for a boat ride mom" She just cracks me up! Tomorrow we are going to run through the sprinklers. Oh so much fun!

Back from our camping adventure. It feels good to shower! We are all clean, tan, well rested and back to work. Brad took lots of photos I will post some tonight

Camping! Oh so much fun! No fish yet. Lots of really good food. Lost 2 Scrabble games :-(

Yuck with the sickies! I am going to try real hard to not be sick again! I dont like it at all! Otherwise we are doing just fine :-)
